Bishop Marshall S. McGill is a native of Dayton Ohio. He was educated in the Ohio and Alabama educational systems, and has advanced studies in Biblical Counseling, Church Management and Pastoral Care respectively, along with a Doctorate of Humane Letters from WHBC for his commitment to community service. Along with advancing his educational studies, Bishop McGill served his country in the military for a number of years.
Bishop McGill is Founder and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre, a Non-Denominational Church located in Columbus, Georgia. He started the church with zero members; however, since this time Kingdom Metropolitan Worship Centre has become one of the most progressive churches in Columbus, Ga. and the surrounding areas. Bishop McGill is also Founder of the Bainbridge Christian Centre in Bainbridge, Georgia and the Tallahassee Christian Centre in Tallahassee, Florida. He is soon to be Overseer of the Grace Church in Barcelona, Spain.
Bishop McGill recently founded the Kingdom Christian Academy & Preparatory School (KCAPS), which is the first Pre K through the 12th grade Educational Institution to be founded by an African American in the history of the Tri-City area of Columbus, GA, Phenix City, AL, and Ft. Benning, GA. KCAPS places emphasis on the Seven principles of Global Success, and strives for excellent academic achievement in students.
Bishop McGill has founded and established The Kingdom Life Bible School, a training program for ministers and leaders that serve in the body of Christ and the corporate world. He is Founder and President of The Good Samaritan Counseling & Resource Institute, in Columbus, Georgia where he provides biblical counseling to those in all phases of life. Bishop McGill is overseer of “Go Ye Nations” in Nagercoil, India, with over 200 pastors and missionaries under his leadership and tutelage. Due to his commitment to underprivileged children in India, Bishop McGill had an orphanage named in his honor called, "The Marshall McGill Children’s Home”. He is an International Conference Speaker and Teacher, traveling around the world to places such as Egypt, Europe, Ghana, India, Israel, Southern Africa, Germany, Liberia, the Caribbean, Spain, Asia and The Kingdom of Swaziland. He has spoken to Heads of State and leaders at all levels of government.
Bishop McGill has been a guest of “Praise the Lord”, on the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN). He is a customary platform guest at major international conferences, and has taken part in annual crusades held throughout the United States and around the world. He has been heard through published outlets internationally and can be seen soon on his upcoming weekly television program entitled, "It’s a New Day."
Bishop McGill has not only dedicated his life to the cause of ministry but to his family as well. He has been happily married to his wife, Pastor Teresa Y. McGill, for over 25 years. Together they have committed to the parental oversight of four wonderful sons: Stephen, Jaye, Peter, and Paul. The family has committed their lives to serving God and His people, which is an example for all to emulate.
